Advanced Spine Rehabilitation
The phase that makes the result permanent.
Quick answer
What is Advanced Spine Rehabilitation?
Spine rehabilitation is the structured, progressive exercise programme that rebuilds the strength, endurance and movement control your spine needs to stay pain-free after the pain has settled. At Back2Health it runs in three phases — activation, loading and capacity — with objective re-testing so progress is measured, not assumed.
- Session length
- 30–45 minutes
- Typical programme
- 8–14 weeks
- Frequency
- 2–3 sessions weekly, tapering
- Home work
- 10–15 minutes daily
Mechanism
How it works, step by step.
- 01Baseline testing: core endurance, hip strength, mobility and an Oswestry function score.
- 02Phase 1 activation — breathing, deep core and glute recruitment, often assisted by super inductive therapy.
- 03Phase 2 loading — hip hinge, squat and carry patterns, anti-rotation and anti-extension control.
- 04Phase 3 capacity — progressive resistance, aerobic conditioning and task-specific work or sport simulation.
- 05Re-test at each phase transition, plus workstation, sleep and lifting coaching.
What it delivers
- Dramatically lowers the chance of recurrence
- Restores confidence in bending, lifting and exercising
- Improves posture endurance for long desk and travel days
- Objectively measured, so you know it is working
- A home programme you can maintain independently
Indicated for
- Every patient after the acute pain phase
- Recurrent back pain and chronic pain
- Post-surgical spine recovery
- Athletes returning to sport
- Desk professionals with postural overload
Not suitable when
- Unstable fracture before medical clearance
- Acute severe radiculopathy (we settle the nerve first)
Applied to
Conditions treated with Advanced Spine Rehabilitation.
Herniated Disc (Slipped Disc)
The most common cause of severe, radiating back and leg pain in desk-based adults. Between 80–90% of herniations resolve without surgery when intradiscal pressure is reduced early and the supporting spine is rebuilt.
Bulging Disc
The stage before a herniation. Catch it here and you avoid the far harder problem later — decompression plus posture correction can restore disc height rather than merely masking pain.
Cervical Spondylosis & Neck Disc Disease
Delhi's most rapidly growing spinal complaint, driven by laptops, phones and 90-minute commutes. Reversible in its early stages, manageable and pain-free in its later ones.
Spinal Stenosis
Stenosis is a space problem. We cannot remove bone, but we can create space by restoring segmental motion, decompressing the disc and reducing the soft-tissue and inflammatory contribution — which is often the difference between 100 metres and 2 kilometres of walking.
Degenerative Disc Disease
Not really a 'disease' — it is wear that becomes symptomatic when load exceeds capacity. The treatable variables are hydration, segmental motion and the strength of the structures around the disc.
Spondylolisthesis
The one spinal condition where stability, not mobility, is the priority. Treatment must be prescribed by a clinician who knows exactly what not to do.
Sacroiliac (SI) Joint Dysfunction
Frequently misdiagnosed as sciatica. The SI joint refers pain into the buttock and back of the thigh, but the treatment is completely different from disc care.
Scoliosis & Postural Deformity
Honest scoliosis care: measurable goals around pain, function, cosmetic appearance and rate of progression — not promises of a straight X-ray.
Chronic Lower Back Pain
Chronic back pain is rarely one thing. Our value is diagnostic precision — finding which of the four or five candidate structures is actually driving your pain.
Post-Surgical Spine Rehabilitation
Surgery removes the compression; it does not rebuild the spine. The muscles switched off before the operation stay switched off unless deliberately retrained.
Answers
Questions about this therapy.
Why do I need rehab if the pain is gone?+
Pain settles long before capacity returns. The deep stabilisers stay inhibited for months after an episode, which is precisely why untreated back pain recurs.
Can I do this at home?+
The home programme is a core part of it. Clinic sessions exist to progress load safely and correct technique before you take it home.
Book an assessment
Find out whether advanced spine rehabilitation suits your spine.
Bring your MRI or X-ray. You'll leave the first consultation knowing exactly what is wrong, whether decompression is right for you, and how many sessions it should take.
